Enter your dimension and class (f, m, c, v) — ISO 2768 min/max limits appear instantly. Also covers ISO 286 fits (H7, h6, JS5…). Free, no sign-up.
ISO 2768 establishes general tolerances for linear and angular dimensions that carry no individual tolerance notation on the engineering drawing. It defines four precision classes — fine (f), medium (m), coarse (c), and very coarse (v) — aligned with the typical capability of machining processes. By noting the class in the drawing title block, all un-toleranced dimensions are covered without cluttering the drawing.
In AS9102 quality control (First Article Inspection – FAI), every characteristic listed on Form 3 must show its exact min and max limits. This calculator generates those limits instantly for any nominal dimension and ISO 2768 class. It also handles ISO 286 fits (H7, h6, k6, g6, JS5, p6…) for shaft-and-bore assemblies, and an explicit ± tolerance mode.
ISO 2768 classes: f (fine) · m (medium) · c (coarse) · v (very coarse). Range: 0.5–4000 mm. Class v undefined below 3 mm.
